He has over 10 years of experience as a Mobile DJ as well as working as an On–Air Personality.
Barry started in 1999 as the overnight host, and then moved to the evening host for "KIX 101.1" in Marshalltown, IA until 2001. He was the evening host on "Today's Best Country Kickin' 100.5 FM" in Sioux Falls, SD from 2003 through 2007. Barry helped launch a new radio station in Sioux Falls, SD, "Easy & Fun 100.1 FM" where he was the Program Director and afternoon host from 2007 to 2009.
Barry Roberts became the Program Director and afternoon host from 3:00 to 6:00pm on Worthington Minnesota's New "Hot Country Station, US 104" in 2009.
Barry Roberts now does programming and production for Radio Works in Worthington, Minnesota. It’s the home of 93.5 Rock IT FM, The Hot Country Highway US 95, AM 730 KWOA, and FM 104.3 The Party. He also hosts afternoons on the “Hot Country Highway US 95”. He is best known for his high energy and witty interaction with afternoon radio listeners on "Barry Roberts In The Afternoon". Listeners in the Tri–State area can tune in to this radio station at 95.1 FM.
DJ Barry Roberts has provided entertainment as a Mobile DJ for Soundz Inc in Marshalltown, IA along with Music In Motion and Wow Entertainment in Sioux Falls over the past 10 years. He has now started his own Professional Mobile DJ Service simply called "DJ Barry Roberts"! This has allowed Barry to provide his clients with a more personalized service.
